Batumi has one of Georgia’s most varied dining scenes. If you are staying with Luxury Apart Hotel in Orbi City, you can begin close to home: breakfast in your apartment, several nearby restaurants on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street and Ardagani Lake, then wider city options when you feel like exploring.
The shortlist below is designed as a practical starting point rather than a ranking. Menus, opening hours and restaurant concepts can change, so check current details before you go — or ask our concierge team to help with a reservation.
Breakfast in your apartment
If you prefer a slower morning, breakfast can be added as an optional service when you book your stay with Luxury Apart Hotel. Your breakfast is delivered to your apartment in the morning, so you can enjoy it privately — and, in many of our Batumi apartments, start the day with a view over the city or the Black Sea before heading out.
Availability, menu options and delivery time are confirmed with your booking. This is the easiest choice when you do not want to leave the apartment first thing in the morning.
Close to Orbi City
Acharuli Sakhli, on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, is a convenient choice for Georgian and Adjarian cuisine close to Orbi City. It is especially useful for guests who want to try local dishes without travelling across town.
Acropolis is another nearby option on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Around Ardagani Lake, Ukrainochka offers Ukrainian, Georgian and European dishes with views towards the Dancing Fountains and the seafront.
For sushi and Japanese food
Tokyo House is a reliable choice when you want sushi, rolls or Japanese-style dishes. Its Sherif Khimshiashvili branch is convenient from the Batumi Mall area, and the restaurant also operates other locations in Batumi.
If you are exploring the New Boulevard side of the city, the distinctive White Restaurant — the famous upside-down building on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street — is also a recognizable nearby landmark. Check its current opening details before planning a meal there.
For a special evening and a view
For a more celebratory evening, rooftop and skyline restaurants elsewhere in Batumi are worth the short ride from Orbi City. 360 Sky Bar & Restaurant and Nephele Sky Bar & Restaurant are both popular choices for cocktails, city lights and a more dramatic setting.
If you want sunset views, book a little earlier than your preferred dining time so you can enjoy the transition from daylight to city lights. Our concierge can also help you choose and reserve a table for a birthday, anniversary or special dinner.
What to try at least once
- Adjarian khachapuri — the boat-shaped cheese bread associated with Adjara.
- Khinkali — Georgian dumplings, best eaten by hand.
- Pkhali — vegetable and walnut spreads, ideal for sharing.
- Mtsvadi — grilled meat, simple and deeply Georgian.
- Local trout or Black Sea fish when available.
- A glass of Georgian wine — ask for a recommendation by region or grape.
A note on reservations
In July, August, New Year periods and on busy weekends, reserve popular restaurants and smaller dining rooms in advance. If you want us to arrange a table, send the restaurant name, preferred date, time and number of guests to our concierge team.
